Operations & Performance Management
Professional Certification

ASHRAE has developed the Operations & Performance Management Professional (OPMP) program in close collaboration with APPA and GSA. Candidates who earn the OPMP certification will have demonstrated a well-rounded understanding and knowledge of the management of facility operations and maintenance and their impact on HVAC&R systems' performance.

The examination for the OPMP program is $295 for ASHRAE members and $415 for non-members.

  2. Complete the Application.
  3. After ASHRAE approves your application, you will receive information about how to register for the OPMP examination at a testing center worldwide
    You must register for and take the examination within 90 days of the approval of your application.

Operations & Performance Management Professional (OPMP) Application

After you've registered ASHRAE will be in touch. After we've approved your application and contacted you, you'll have 90 days to register to take the exam at one of the testing centers located around the world. In the U.S., most testing centers are in H&R Block offices.
